August

I will have the August calendar posted and church and published on the blog by Friday (July 31). Don't forget the 31st is bowling. Meeting at 6:00 at the bowling alley. If you're planning and going (and bowling), please let me know so I can get enough coupons and reserve enough lanes. I know Ken and I were supposed to be there, but unfortunately, we had a family obligation come up and have to go to Phoenix:( Remember, we're also out of town Aug 7th so we'll definitely plan something fun for Aug. 14th.

A couple of requests -- if you're checking the blog, please become a 'blog follower' - that way I know how many people are potentially being notified of updates. Also, I'd like to know how everybody feels about having a group list published on the blog - maybe names and email addresses? Let me know your thoughts. Sorry about being gone so much lately -- looking forward to seeing you soon!!

We had such a great time up at the Hualapai's. I'm still a bit sore from our 17-mile hike but that was to be expected. Had a few minor injuries but all in all, everybody had a great time (I think) and topped it off with dinner at Cracker Barrel (yum!!) We're definitely doing this again - except we're going to wait until it's a wee bit cooler. Thanks for a great time, y'all!
